Adorable and Sweet

I took Hannah out yesterday and took some pictures.  It was, literally, 100 degrees so we only lasted about 20 minutes but we got some great pictures in that limited time!

Music Styles Concert

At Olivia's school last week, they celebrated American Education Week and we got to attend a music concert.  All of 3rd grade performed five songs and each was sung in a different style....all chosen by the students.

First up, we had Gaelic.  I was most surprised by this style choice.

Next was Rap.  I laughed at this one a lot (lyrics and dance moves).

Then they did Classical (with a bit of humor).

 

Next was Jazz.  Olivia sang this one at home so Hannah was excited to hear this one.

And no concert is complete without some Rock and Roll.

I enjoyed all of them, but my favorites were Jazz and Rap. Which did you like best?

Halloweekend Recap

Friday night, we ordered in Chinese food and all watched a movie.  Olivia and I were the only ones to make it to the end.

Saturday started with Olivia's horse lessons. I managed to get a few pictures on Hannah and Chris while Olivia was riding.

I've posted videos before of her riding, but she finished the lesson this week on a different horse than normal.  It was definitely a humorous thing to watch. 

After horse lessons, Olivia had a birthday party of her friend, Maddie to attend. It was a costume party at a bowling alley.  She was so excited to wear her costume and Hannah wanted to wear hers too!!

 And to finish the weekend up, we took the kids to park behind our house.
